Born 1972 in Basel, Switzerland, I bought a camera with my first self-earned money at the age of 16. Since then, I have never let go of photography, moved from black and white film/darkroom workflow to digital/lightroom workflow, and have continued to pursue my passion to this day.

I photograph what speaks to my heart and mind, rather than limiting myself to a particular genre, and try to express those thoughts and feelings through images.

The world of film has always fascinated me and in 2021 I started to record my photo trips with videos to share them on Youtube. This opened up a new level of expression and aims to inspire and excite others about photography.
